decisions decisions decisions
in life, we have to face many decisions..
from what am i having for lunch today to should I further my studies in Australia? Being indecisive, i finally sat down and analyze every possible options I have in order to graduate with a degree. Option 1 Stay back in Monash Malaysia for another semester and apply for an exchange to Monash Berwick in Melbourne. Stay in Berwick for a year and graduate in Malaysia. Pros - get to save on tuition fees - might be able to get allowance from the university while I am there Cons - it's outside the city, might be inconvenient for living - probably would have to stay in Hostel which would have restrictions Option 2 Apply for transfer course to Monash Caulfield. Pros - it's in the city! - many friends in town - get to graduate in Australia Cons - probably would have to stay in hostel which would have restrictions Option 3 Accept Curtin's offer in Perth Pros - my brother stays nearby (my guardian) - transportation and accommodation all ready-provided - only need 1.5years more to graduate Cons - Curtin's ranking ain't as good as Monash Option 4 Continue wait for UWA's offer and hopefully accept it when they arrive. Pros - it's a good university and it's in Perth! - my brother stays in Perth so I have someone there Cons - the place my brother is staying in very far from the university - the standard there is high, will i be able to cope with their standard? sigh... I am really being indecisive! There is so many options.. but not all available yet tou. I am tempted with Option 1 and 3. Option 2 and 4 is still pending. and as for Option 3, is university ranking important? It wouldn't make sense that I am already enrolled in the group of eight, and i transfer myself out to a university that is not even ranked in the top 20 in Australia, right? >< but Curtin's School of Business is ranked 12 in Australia, while Monash is ranked 5, followed by UWA at rank 7.. Anyway, it's 18th October today! HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY DARYL!! ![]() we''ll make sure you get thrown in the pool today ^^
